ADINA KATZ

Adina Katz is an artist, teacher, and producer, in theatre, comedy, film, and music, having worked on stages, sets, sound studios, and classrooms across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. She has worked extensively as an actor, improvisor, singer, director, and video producer.

Adina is the founder of Wandering Well Productions, an entertainment company focusing on social commentary and feminism. She created and performs Be a Good Girl, a one woman show that combines drama, dark comedy, film sequences, and original songs to tell true stories of sexual assault and its repercussions. Be a Good Girl continues to evolve and has been presented in various venues in Canada and the UK.

Musical Improv Comedy is one of Adina’s greatest loves, both performing it and teaching the skills to others. She produced, directed, and performed in Lalala & Order, a musical improv comedy show at Chicago’s Second City. She is also the founder and performer of Montreal based “The Jazz Ands” and “Way The Hell Off-Broadway.” She established the Musical Improv program at the first Montreal Improv Theatre, and continues to teach it privately at various locations.

Adina has shared her love for the creative arts by teaching youth and adults how to access it themselves, as well as mentoring emerging artists on their projects. She has mainly focused her classes on acting, improv, music, and a combination of these disciplines. She is currently based in Montreal.
